Brilliant blue azurite crystals in 20 cavities (vugs). Also shows veins of green malachite. The vugs display a white mineral underneath the azurite crystals. We have seen similar pieces where the white was identified as Gibbsite. However we have not tested this piece. The matrix is a rust colored gossan material. A wonderful contrast.
