For sale is this huge beautiful iron Campo Del Cielo meteorite from Argentina. Found in Chaco Province, Argentina in the year 1576 by the military under orders of the governor. There were rumors the native americans were using metal from huge specimens.

This is a complete individual. Described as a polycrystalline coarse octahedrite. Displays an ablation cavity as well as many regmaglypts (thumbprints) on all surfaces of the piece.
