Holly Blue Agate comes from near Sweet Home, Oregon.

Holly Blue is supposed to be purple in color except for the original seam which was bluish. The mine site is on private timber land and is permanently closed to the public. It is found near and sometimes in the Calapooia River. Sometimes called Calapooia agate.

This wonderful polished piece of holly blue shows agate banding across the dome top of the cabochon, on two sides deeper purple color is visible. This outstanding smaller cabochon can be used as a display or set into jewelry. It is small but could be held n your hand while meditating.

Metaphyical: Holly Blue agate is "said to carry the highest vibration of all the agates". Also it is said to enhance ESP, lucid dreaming, mediumship, and other paranormal actions including hearing spirit guide promptings!
