This is a rare exceptionally long smoky quartz crystal that we recently recrived. The pointed tip is the smokyest part of the crystal. There is a rainbow about 50% down the crystal on one side.

This is a very special crystal looking for a good home! Will make a great one if a kind gift for that special witchy person or crystal healer!

Milky, clear, and smoky quartz are all silicon dioxide, but they differ in appearance and feel because of how they form and what gets trapped in the crystal. Milky quartz looks white or cloudy because it contains countless microscopic inclusions and tiny internal fractures that scatter light, making it translucent to opaque. Clear quartz forms with far fewer inclusions and a more orderly internal structure, so light travels through more easily and the crystal appears transparent and glassy. Smoky quartz shares the same basic structure but has a brown to gray color caused by natural radiation acting on trace impurities or defects in the lattice over long periods, creating color centers that absorb part of the light. Metaphysically, clear quartz is treated as a strong, precise amplifier and “master healer,” used to sharpen intention, enhance mental clarity, and boost the energy of other stones.
