This is green chromium petrified wood. It is among the rarest types of petrified wood in the world. This piece comes from what is thought to be a single treefall near Winslow, Arizona, USA.

This petrified wood is from the late Triassic Period, specifically the Chinle Formation, which is approximately 210 to 225 million years old.

This special piece actually looks like a tree branch section with bark-like texture on one side!
