Holly Blue Agate comes from near Sweet Home, Oregon. It is found near and sometimes in the Calapooia River. Sometimes called Calapooia agate.
Holly Blue is supposed to be purple in color except for the original seam which was bluish. The mine site is on private timber land and is permanently CLOSED to the public. Makes this a rare item.
This pendant has a wonderful tumbled polished piece of deep purple holly blue agate. It is double wire wraped in copper wire and steel wire. The setting includes a blue aquamarine, a clear quartz, a yellow citrine and what appears to be an alluvial topaz. The pendant comes with a black and gold metal chain necklace, but you can replace if you want. Be sure to zoom in on the photos!
